Eligibility

Applicants must have obtained a Master’s Degree in Economics, Population Studies, and Agricultural Economics with 55 percent (50 percent for reserved category Applicants) from a recognized University

Admission Details :

Admission based on Entrance Examination

Interview: Applicants having M.Phil Degree through regular mode, and those who have qualified at the UGC JRF exam shall be exempted from the entrance examination and directly qualify for the interview.

Applicants who pass the Entrance Exam be called for the interview to present/discuss their research proposal/area/interest.

The Institute does not offer Ph.D. programme through distance mode.

Applicants shall download the application form from the Institute’s website and submit at the Institute along with application fee of Rs. 1750/- (Rs. 875/- for reserved category candidates).
