Re: GMAT Verbal Tips

Hello, here I am providing you the details of the tips to solve the Verbal section of the GMAT exam as under:

To grow your vocabulary, make your flashcards work for you by replacing the dictionary’s definition of each word with a sentence that has personal meaning to you.

To improve in Sentence Correction, remember: there are certain ways to attack the questions so that you try to not miss a thing.

To improve in Reading Comprehension, try to avoid getting caught up in extraneous details and tackle the passages by determining the issue at hand, the theories within the issue that the author is discussing and whether or not he/she agrees with them.

Know the question formats
The GMAT Verbal section asks three kinds of questions: Reading Comprehension, Critical Reasoning, and Sentence Correction.

Use high quality materials
There are many sources for GMAT questions all over the web. The GMAT Verbal questions vary considerably in quality.

Don’t sweat vocabulary
Vocabulary is not a big issue on the GMAT. As long as you know your basic Economics 101 terms (profit, cost, revenue, etc.), then you have all the vocabulary you need.
