GMAT Number Of Attempts
I am planning to do MBA for this I am doing preparation of the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). Will you please tell me how many GMAT attempts are allowed so that I can prep accordingly also tell me lists of top business schools?

The Graduate Management Admission Test is a computer adaptive test (CAT) intended to assess certain skills in written English for use in admission to a graduate management program, such as an MBA. GMAT Attempts: There are no limitations as to how many times you can sit for the test. You can write the test as many times as you wish to! However, the number of attempts is limited to 5 in a year. Syllabus: GMAT Tests in the following areas: Verbal Ability, which has 3 question types: Sentence Correction (approx. 16 ques), Critical Reasoning (approx. 12 questions) and Reading Comprehension (approx. 13 questions) Quantitative Ability, which has 2 question types: Word problems(approx. 18-22 ques) and Data Sufficiency questions (approx. 15-18 questions) Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA) section, which has an essay question on Analysis of an Argument, and the Integrated Reasoning (IR) Section which has multiple choice questions that expect candisates to analyse information that is presented in either Graphic, Tabular or Textual format Score: For most top ranked b-schools such as Harvard, Stanford, LBS, INSEAD, Wharton etc., the range of GMAT scores of admitted candidates is from 600 to 790 Top Business schools: Harvard University Boston, MA Stanford University Stanford, CA University of Pennsylvania Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Sloan) Cambridge, MA Northwestern University (Kellogg) Evanston, IL University of Chicago (Booth) Chicago, IL University of California--Berkeley (Haas) Berkeley, CA Columbia University New York, NY Dartmouth College (Tuck) Hanover, NH New York University (Stern), New York, NY |
