GITAM University Online Application

Hello sir I want to take admission in GITAM University as I want to do B.Tech and for that I have to give GAT so will you please tell me the last date for filling the Online Application form of this Exam??

GITAM University conducts GITAM GAT examination every year for admission to B.Tech and dual degree courses in Engineering at its several campuses.

Eligibility Criteria:

-Applicants must have cleared 10+2 or equivalent exam and secured at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Maths and Chemistry.

-Applicants who are going to appear in class XII examination are also eligible to apply for GITAM GAT Exam

-Applicants interested for admission to B.Tech Biotechnology are must to clear class XII or equivalent examination and secured at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Maths, Chemistry and Biology.

-Applicants those are interested to get admission to B.Arch are must to qualify in NATA exam

Application Fees
Application fee for Male candidates is specified by concerned authority is Rs. 1000/- and for female candidate Rs. 600/-.

Exam Pattern:
GAT is a Computer-Based test in three different subjects separately.
Candidates will find questions from Mathematics or Biology as per their reference in the first paper. Total number of questions will be 40.
Questions from Physics will be asked in second paper. Total number of questions will be 30.
Questions from Chemistry will be asked in third paper. Total number of questions will be 30
Exam duration will be of 3 hours.
Candidates will be awarded by three marks for every right answer and one mark will be deducted in case of every wrong answer.

-Online Slot Booking starts: April 11 to 15, 2016
-Download Hall Ticket: 11 April 2016
-Exam Date: 19 April – 8 May 2016
-GITAM GAT 2016 Result will be published on: 16 May 2016
-GITAM GAT 2016 counselling: 9 to 16 June 2016
