The MBA/MHA joint degrees consists of 51-63 semester hours of 8000-level graduate courses that includes three credit hours of practical learning as an administrative residency. The curriculum of Robinson School of Business is guided by a set of competencies developed using input from the faculty, alumni, and preceptors as well as the Alumni and Advisory Boards. The course Details of the MBA/MHA program are as follows: Semester Hours No. of Courses Cornerstone Core Courses 2–4 courses for a total of 6–12 hours Functional Core Courses 1–3 courses for a total of 3–9 hours Business Elective 1 of 3 courses for a total of 3 hours Required Courses in Health Administration 9 courses for a total of 27 hours Administrative Residency 1 course for a total of 3 hours Minimum Total 51 hours Admission Requirements for the Program: There are no precise undergraduate major preferred and no prerequisite courses for admissions. A 3.1 cumulative grade point average is normally required. Previous work experience is favoured. The Robinson College of Business accepts either a GRE or GMAT score. The average GMAT score of accepted aspirants is 580 to 620. An interview with an institute faculty member is required prior to final admission. This interview gives aspirants an opportunity to learn more about the degree options and the field of health administration. Applications are received on a rolling basis. However, there are cut-offs dates for every one semester for receipt of materials. They are: May 1st for fall semester, September 15th for spring semester, and February 1st for summer semester.
