Genesis School of Information Technology and Journalism was founded as the Tanzania Government new policy of education and training in November 2012. It was registered by the National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) on the 18th January, 2013.

This one year course is intended to train students to the level of technicians

Prerequisites for application:
1.Four recent passport size photographs
2.Copies of all educational certificates, academic transcript, birth certificate, curriculum vitae, (CV) and/or relevant testimonials
3.A Medical certificate from government hospital
4.Letter from the sponsor/employer or guardian confirming His/her readiness to sponsor the applicant.
5.Letter from the referee who knows you well and may comment something on your selection of the course.
6.Employed candidate must have a release letter from their employer.
7.Attach with non refundable application and interview fee of Tsh. 20,000/=.
8.Applicants of Admission to Genesis School of Information Technology and Journalism are expected to sit for an interview, and written aptitude test. This interview will be conducted only on Saturdays.
9.All new students must arrive one week for orientation before class resume for all students.
