Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GCET) was introduced in the year 2002 for admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) programmes conducted by Gujarat Technical University. There is also a separate test for admission to the MCA programme offered by universities in Gujarat. Candidates who are interested in both MBA & MCA have to give a combined test instead of both the above. Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GCET) is conducted in the month of June every year.


GCET Exam Pattern:

Quantitative Ability (QA):
Number System, Profit & Loss, Percentages, Averages, Progression, Work, Speed, Geometry and Algebra.

Reasoning Ability(RA):
Analytical & Logical Reasoning (AR & LR), exercises, puzzles and deductive reasoning.

Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency (DI & DS):
Tables, Activity Charts, Bar Charts, Pie Charts and Graphs.

Verbal Ability & Verbal Reasoning (VA & VR):
Grammar, Vocabulary and Verbal reasoning.

Reading Comprehension (RC)

General Knowledge and General Business Environment (GK)
