GATE 2014 General Aptitude Questions:

Apart from the core subject questions, all papers will contain a few questions that test the General Aptitude (Language and Analytical Skills of the candidates.

GATE 2014 Exam Pattern for XE :

Section A: Engineering Mathematics (compulsory)

GA – General Aptitude (compulsory)

Any two of XE sections B to G (see table above):

GATE 2014 Exam Pattern for XL:

Section H – Chemistry (compulsory)

GA – General Aptitude (compulsory)

Any two of XL sections I to M

Note: For both XE and XL Papers of GATE 2014:

Candidates can view the questions before making the choice of two XE sections from B to G during the examination.

Candidates can choose only two optional sections.
