Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an all India level exam being jointly conducted by Indian Institute of Science and 7 IITs.

Here is GATE exam eligibility criteria:

Age limit
There is no age limit for applying for the GATE examination. Any age of the candidate applying for this exam.


Number of Attempts:
No restriction

Eligibility:

The applicant should have Bachelor's degree holders in Engineering/Technology/ Architecture (4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final year of such programmes.

OR

The applicant should have Bachelor's degree holders in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture (Post-B.Sc./Post-Diploma) and those who are in the final year of such programmes.

OR

The applicant should have Master's degree holders in any branch of Science/ Mathematics / Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent.
