As you said your friend want to appear SSC exam , for help here I ma providing G.k. exam paper In hindi : The GK which comes in SSC exams is very different from which you have seen in Bank and Insurance exams. The following are the topics of SSC GK. Indian History Indian Polity Geography Economics & Indian Economy General Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) Computer Knowledge Miscellaneous Some important Instruction about the GK syllabus SSC CGL exam : There will be 5 or 6 questions each from all the topics given above except miscellaneous. General Science will have 10-15 question. Physics, Chemistry & Biology. Each topic carries 5 marks questions each. History means Indian History only. They hardly ask World History questions. Sometimes 1 or 2. So don't waste your time in world history and skip world history. There are two parts of Geography from which the questions are asked they are Indian Geography and Physical Geography. Economics part contains 2 topics, Indian Economy and Economics. Indian Economy is the study of Indian Economic system and Economics comprises two topics i.e., Microeconomics and Macroeconomics.
