Re: Future Plans Of IFFCO

As per my idea the Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Ltd is planning to expand the manufacturing facility at Paradeep to 30 lakh tonnes a year.

The total project cost is estimated at Rs. 5000 million. The Paradeep plant is acquired from Abhey Oswal Group and have a current capacity of 19.20 lakh tonnes of di-ammonum phospate(DAP).

Indian Farmers Fertiliser Co-operative Limited (IFFCO) was registered on November 3, 1967 as a Multi-unit Co-operative Society.

In 1993, IFFCO had drawn up a major expansion programme of all the four plants under overall aegis of IFFCO VISION 2000.

The expansion projects at Aonla, Kalol, Phulpur and Kandla were completed on schedule.
