Re: Future of EAMCET
As part of its efforts to streamline education processes and make them more inclusive, the Telangana government has been actively considering scrapping the EAMCET entrance exam from 2016-17 academic year and replacing it with intermediate (Class XII) score for admissions in professional colleges in the state. The Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE) director said that no choice has been taken in regards to cessation of EAMCET, either to engineer or horticulture and different streams. Answering to an inquiry about the fate of the two passage tests in the state, he said that TSCHE will show its perspectives at whatever point inquired. The announcement expect significance in the wake of the late remarks by Education Minister who scrutinized the requirement for building passageway test in perspective of seats going unfilled in schools in the state. It is likewise learnt that there will be no adjustment in arrangement of the passage test for filling seats in agribusiness, drug store, and veterinary and other colleges. It will be of a similar example like some time recently. |
