Can a commerce Stream student join Indian Army?

Yes a Candidate with commerce stream can join the Indian army.


To join in indian army you need to give NDA(National Defence Academy) exam which is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) two times in a year i.e

NDA-I,

NDA-II.


NDA has three wings:


They are:

Indian army,

Indian navy,

Indian airforce.

Eligibility criteria:

The candidate should be complete 12th standard from a recognized state board.

For air force and navy wings the candidate must have PCM subjects in 12th standard.

Age limits is 16.5 years to 19 years and there is no age relaxation for obc or sc/st candidates.

The candidate must be physically fit.


Important things:

Only unmarried male candidates are eligible for NDA, Girls are not eligible.

The candidate should be a citizen of india.


Selection process:

Written test,

SSB interview,

Medical test.
