Re: Free NBRC RRT Exam

The name of the examinations that Applicants take to earn the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential has changed from the Written Registry Examination to the Therapist Multiple-Choice Examination (TMC).

There are two established cut scores for the Therapist Multiple-Choice Examination. Candidates can take the Clinical Simulation Examination by achieving the higher cut score on the Therapist Multiple-Choice Examination

The Therapist Multiple-Choice Examination is consisting of 160 MCQ (140 scored items and 20 pretest items) distributed among three major content areas:

Patient Data Evaluation and Recommendations
Troubleshooting and Quality Control of Equipment and Infection Control
Initiation and Modification of Interventions

Therapist Multiple-Choice candidates will be given three hours to complete the examination.

The Clinical Simulation Examination is consisting of 22 problems (20 scored items and 2 pretest items). Candidates will be given four hours to complete the CSE.

From January 1, 2005, new graduates of accredited advanced-level education programs will have three-year time limit to pass the RRT Examination.

I am providing you an image of a study guide for the preparation of CRT & RRT. It will help you a lot. It also includes Practice Test Question papers.
