The Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) is the doctoral programme of IIMR (Indian Institute of Management Ranchi) for developing outstanding scholars for teaching or research careers at business schools/universities or management research institutions or careers in Government, industry, NGOs or for that matter any organization that requires advanced analytical and research capabilities.

The programme requires a minimum of four years to complete. Students have to undertake first two years of rigorous course work, followed by at least two additional years for completing the research work with dissertation.

Accounting & Finance
Economics
General Management (includes Business Communication, Business Ethics)
Information Systems
Marketing Management
Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management
Operations Management
Strategic Management

Eligibility


One must have one of the following qualifications obtained from any of the universities recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, or an equivalent qualification from an institution approved by AICTE, or any equivalent qualification from recognized foreign universities or institutions.
Masters degree or its equivalent in any discipline with first class
OR
Minimum 16 years of education (10+2+4/ 10+2+3+1/ 10+2+5) with first class
OR
Any professional qualification such as CA/ ICWA/ CS with a minimum 55% aggregate marks or equivalent grade point average.

In addition, one must have secured a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent) in all public exams starting with the secondary level.

Work experience in industry or academics, though not mandatory, will be given due credit in the selection process.

One appearing for the final year exam in the current academic year may also apply. However, the admission will be provisional subject to the successful completion of all requirements for obtaining the relevant degree.

Age Limit

One must not be more than 55 years of age.
