The FCI conducts a common recruitment written exam towards selecting all the eligible applicants in the post of General, Depot, Technical and Account cadres of services respectively.

Exam Pattern 2014 for FCI Category III Posts:
There will be three papers of 200 Marks each divided equally into the following sections:

Paper I:

General Intelligence: 50 Questions

Quantitative Aptitude: 50 Questions

English Language: 50 Questions

General Awareness: 50 Questions

Total Marks Allotted: 200 Marks

Paper II:

Quantitative Aptitude: 50 Questions

Total Marks Allotted: 200 Marks

English Language & Comprehension: 100 Questions

Paper III: Technical Cadres

Any subject from Biological Sciences (Botany/ Zoology/ Micro Biology/ Food Science & Technology/ Agriculture and Agricultural Engineering/ Bio Technology/ Bio Chemistry)

Total Marks Allotted: 200 Marks

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must have Graduate from any discipline of any recognized university /college of India for this purpose.
The minimum age of all the candidates should be 27 years for appearing in the recruitment exam of FCI.

Syllabus:
Paper I:

General Intelligence: In this section verbal and non verbal questions are given to solve.

General Awareness: In this section questions are asked from History, Economics, Geography, Politics, Scientific Research and Culture and Current Affairs.


Paper II:
Quantitative Aptitude: In this section Mathematical questions are asked as Number System, Ratio and Proportion, Square Roots, Interests, Relationships, Geometry, Time and Work etc.
English Language: In English Language Section question from Active and passive, Antonyms, Synonyms, Blanks, Spelling Detection, Idioms and Phrases, voice, Narration, Shuffling of Sentences, Comprehension Passage Questions etc are given.


Paper III:
In Paper III Questions from Microbiology, Botany, Bio-Chemistry, Zoology, Bio-technology and Agriculture Engineering are asked.


SSC(Staff Selection Commission) FCI Eligibility Criteria:
Computer Knowledge is also essential for this Exam.
Applicants age should be below 27 years for SSC FCI Exam.
Applicants must be Graduate in any discipline from recognized University/Colleges.
