The FMGE-Screening Test has been introduced by the Screening Test Regulations .

Important Dates:
Availability of Information Bulletin• : 23 April 2014
Candidate may note that there is no option for submitting the form other than the online mode
Last date for Receipt of Application Forms : 21st May 2014
Date of Exam online : 16 and 17 June, 2014

Eligibility Criteria

a) He / She is a citizen of India or Overseas citizenship of India.
b) Possesses primary medical qualifications that are recognized by the Government of the country
c) He / She had obtained Eligibility Certificate from the Medical Council of India (
Application Fee (Non-Refundable)

Exam Pattern:

The Examination is held twice a year at New Delhi.

The test is conducted in English language.

The test shall be conducted as a Computer Based Test comprising of 300 Multiple Choice Questions

There is NO negative marking.

An applicant shall be declared as having passed only if he/she obtains a minimum of 50% of marks in the examination.

There are no restrictions on number of attempts that can be availed by an applicant.
