FMC Corporation India has established a state-of-the-art R & D Centre focused on process chemistry at the Society for Innovation & Development in the IISc campus under the Collaborative Research Programme.

It has a current strength of ten Scientists and Chemists.

The Centre is involved in collaborative research with the Department of Organic Chemistry, IISc

The facility was set up in a period of six months and was commissioned in December 2001.

There has been excellent progress in the research programme.
