Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) be conducted by Indian Air Force for the aspirants who want to join Flying Branch of Indian Air Force. Eligibility for AFCAT exam : For Flying branch: Candidate must be a citizen of Indian. Age : 19 to 23 years Education: Graduate in any field from a renowned university. Candidate must have attained 60% marks in total in all paper put together and have passed Maths and Physics at 10+2 level. Written Examination Structure:- Test will be of two hours duration and will contain multiple choice questions on : Verbal Ability Numerical Ability Reasoning General Awareness And Military Aptitude Total No. of Questions– 100. Each Question is of three marks. Air Force Common Admission Test (Afcat) Syllabus General Awareness : History, Sports, Geography, Environment, Civics, Basic Science, Defence, Art, Culture, Current Affairs, Politics etc. Verbal Ability in English : Comprehension, Error Detection, Sentence Completion, Synonyms, Antonyms Testing of Vocabulary. Numerical Ability : Decimal Fraction, Simplification, Average, Profit& loss, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion and Simple interest. Reasoning and Military Aptitude Test : Verbal Skills SpatialAbility. |
