Re: Fleet Tanker Indian Navy

INS Deepak is a Deepak-class armada tanker worked by Fincantieri. Deepak was dispatched on 13 February 2010 and appointed on 21 January 2011.

INS Deepak development program by Muggiano Shipyard of Fincantieri, included three distinct shipyards of Fincantieri, Italy, utilizing cutting edge ship development strategies and ideas with broad parallelism and simultaneous designing to convey the boat, in a testing time period of two years.

Capacity

The Deepak-class tanker can convey 17,900 tons (17,600 long tons; 19,700 short tons) of load, including 15,500 tons (15,300 long tons; 17,100 short tons) huge amounts of fluid payload (water, boat and airplane fuel) and 500 tons (490 long tons; 550 short tons) huge amounts of strong freight (victuals and ammo). It can deal with 16 load compartments on the upper deck and was furnished with an eight-bed doctor's facility, with lab and X-beam offices. The present day load taking care of office on board the boat empowers exchange of substantial strong freight through a 30 tons (30 long tons; 33 short tons) limit deck crane, and synchronous fuelling of various boats adrift, and can refuel at the rate of 1,500 tons (1,500 long tons; 1,700 short tons) every hour. Workshop offices on the boat can bolster different boats of the armada and it is fit for supporting overwhelming helicopters.

Service history

Deepak, alongside INS Delhi joined in India-Brazil-South Africa Maritime (IBSAMAR 111) amid October 2012. This boats docked at Durban for three days as a major aspect of the sending.
