Mr. Arjan Singh is the first Marshal of Indian Air Force, he was one pilot who grew up in the annals of the air force as the first chief for leading the force into war and he was Chief of Air Staff when the IAF saw action in its first combat of the modern age in 1965. Born: 15 April 1919 (age 96) Awards: Padma Vibhushan Distinguished Flying Cross Mr. Arjan Singh: Indian Air Force was founded in 8 October 1932, it is the air arm of the Indian armed forces.
