Can you tell me about the fee structure for MA (Master of Arts in Conservation and Regeneration) Program offered by CEPT University?

MA (Master of Arts in Conservation and Regeneration) program offered by CEPT University is a two year specialist education in theory and practice of building conservation and conservation led urban regeneration.


Eligibility

One must have B. Tech (Structural, Civil)/ B A in Archaeology/Bachelors in Interior Design (Minimum 4 years)/ Bachelor in Urban Design or Planning (Minimum 4 years) Degree.

Minimum requirement to apply for the programs is 55% aggregate marks for general category candidates and 50% aggregate marks for reserved category candidates in the qualifying degree

Curriculum
The two year program is divided in four semesters.

The first semester focuses on developing essential skills required to practice in this field.

The next two semesters take the individuals on ground to involve with live projects of different scales and varied complexities for developing an attitude to conservation while arriving at creative solutions in a given situation.

These semesters would also have theory inputs to give insights, exposure and perspective to develop a critical understanding of the practice.

The last semester is a Directed Research Project where one is placed with practices to carry out research for theorising a conservation practice or advocating attitudes, approaches or innovations of practice. This would directly expose the graduating individual to practice of conservation.

In the final semester of the Program four students were selected to be a part of exchange/ academic visits to University of Toulouse, France and University of York, UK.

Ten other students were selected to do a Directed Research Project with established and diverse practices in Conservation through India.
