Federal Reserve Bank is a regional bank of the Federal Reserve System, the central banking system of the United States.
The Federal Reserve System fulfills its public mission as an independent entity within government.
It is not "owned" by anyone and is not a private, profit-making institution.
It is considered an independent central bank
There are twelve in total that were created by the Federal Reserve Act of 1913

Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas
