Resident Term Deposits interest rates are also applicable to
Resident Cash Certificate,
Federal Savings Fund,
Fed Secure,
Federal Tax Savings Deposits
NRO Fixed Deposits

Additional interest rate of 0.50% is available for deposits of senior citizens for all tenors

Premature closure penalty of 1% applicable for term deposits above Rs. 15 Lakhs.

Interest rates for Resident Term Deposits
Period Less than Rs.100 Lakhs
7 days to 14 days 3.50%
15 days to 45 days 5.00%
46 days to 59 days 7.00%
60 days to less than 1 year 7.25%
1 Year to less than 18 months 8.00%
18 Months to less than 2 years 8.25%
2 Years and above 8.00%
