Here is the vision standards for joining the Indian Air Force

Distant Vision 6/6 without spectcles.

Near Vision N-5 each eye.

Color Vision CP-1(ML T).

Manifest Hypermetropia must not exceed + 2.00 Dsph "Myopia - Nill" and Astigmatism + 0.75 DSph.


Here is the exam patter of IAF

(1) General Awareness - 25 Question

(2) Military Aptitude & Reasoning - 25 Questions

(3) Numerical Ability - 25 Questions

(4) General English - 25 Questions


The exam includes 3 branches

Technical Branch

Ground duty Branch

Flying Branch
