The Staff Selection Commission (S.S.C.) conducts this examination every year for recruitment to Income Tax/ Excise Inspectors posts, here are details:

Important dates

Closing Date for receipt of application: 14.02.2014;

Date of Exam:
27.04.2014 04.05.2014

Eligibility

Age:
A candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years on the first July of the year of examination.

Educational Qualifications:
A candidate must hold degree of a recognized University, or equivalent.

Selection
The examination comprises:
(i) Written examination
(ii) Interview for Personality Test for such candidates as may qualify in the written test

The subjects of the examination are:

General Intelligence
General English
Arithmetical Ability
General Awareness
