Exam Pattern Of SSC

I have completed my graduation and planning to give the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) CGL exam want details of this exam. Will you tell me details of what the exam pattern of this SSC CGL exam and also provide me important dates for this exam so that I can prepare well?

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) recruit large number of job seekers in government department through written exam/interview process.

Exam pattern of SSC CGL:

The Examination will be conducted in three tiers as indicated below :

Tier -I — Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
Tier -II — Written Examination (Objective Multiple Choice Type)
Tier -III — Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test (wherever applicable)/ Document Verification

SSC CGL Tier 1 Pattern:

PART 1

C Quantitative Aptitude 50 50
D English Comprehension 50 50

So there are 200 questions consisting of 200 Marks. Means 1 Mark assign for 1 question.

Time Duration is 120 minutes (2 Hour) for 200 questions.
There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Tier-I Exam.

TIER II PATTERN:- It will also be Objective Type Paper.

Time Duration is 120 minutes (2 Hour) for Each of the Papers.

Closing Date: March 14
Date of Exam: May 8 and May 22

CGL Tier 2:

Date of Exam: August 13 and August 14, 2016.
