As you want to get the exam pattern of Management Aptitude Test so here it is for you:

MAT 2014 Eligibility:
Candidates must have passed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year students can also apply for MAT 2014.

MAT 2014 Selection process:
Candidates will be selected on the basis of short listed by the MAT 2014

The students will have to appear for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds.

MAT 2014 Exam Pattern:
This paper will be of 2 hours 30 minutes.

There are 200 multiple choice questions on 5 sections, namely Language Comprehension, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning and Indian and Global Environment.

Each correct answer bears four marks and for each wrong answer, there is 1/4 negative marking.

MAT May 2014 Important Dates:
Paper pencil based MAT May 2014: Sunday, May 4, 2014
Date of Computer based MAT May 2014: Saturday,May 10, 2014 onwards
Sale of forms: First week of March 2014
Last date of sale of forms: Wednesday, April 16, 2014
Last date of submission of filled in registration forms: Friday, April 19, 2014
Last date for online registration: Wednesday, April 16, 2014
Admit Card download starts from Saturday, April 26, 2014

MAT exam is usually conducted four times in a year in January, May, September and December.
MAT is the MBA entrance exam conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA). The type of questions is of multiple choices in MAT exam. The candidates have to select the correct option. There are 5 sections with 200 questions. The duration of MAT is 2 hours 30 minutes or 150 minutes and there is no sectional time limit.

The 5 sections in the MAT Exam Pattern are
Language Comprehension
Intelligence and Critical Reasoning
Data Analysis and Sufficiency
Mathematical Skills
Indian and Global Environment

Duration : 150 minutes

Total Number of Questions: 200

Number of Sections: 5

Number of Questions in each Section: 40

Marking Scheme: 1 mark per question

Negative Marking: ΒΌ of the total marks or 0.25 mark

Number of Options: 4

Data Analysis and Sufficiency
Mathematical Skills
Indian and Global Environment

The scores are given on the basis of the first four sections only. The total marks are 800. However, the scores of the Indian and Global Environment, or the General Knowledge section are not considered by the B-schools. Generally, the cut-off of the exam ranges for 500 and more score which is 50 percentile and above.

Eligibility:
Candidates should have graduated in any discipline from any recognised university or equivalent recognised degree. A final-year student can also appear provisionally.
