Exam for flying branch of IAF after B.Tech
Hi I have completed B.Tech now I want to join flying branch of IAF so what is the procedure of this?

Ok, you want to join flying branch of IAF so for this you have to appear in the Combined Defence Services Examination exam. It is conducted by UPSC. There are 3 modes by which you can join the IAF. They are- Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE) National Cadet Corps Special Entry (Through CO NCC Unit / DG NCC) Flying (Pilot) Short Service Commission (For Men & women) Eligibility Criteria for IAF- CDSE (Men)- Graduation with specialization in science. Age must be between 19 to 23 years. Final year students can also apply. CO NCC Unit / DG NCC (Men) - Graduates in any discipline. Age must be between 19 to 23 years. Flying (Pilot) Short Service Commission- Graduation with a background in science. 12th with a minimum of 60 percent in Mathematics and Physics. Age must be between 19 to 25 years. This method is for both men and women. Selection procedure of the IAF- The selection of the students is done by 4 steps. They include- Scrutiny of Applications Testing Officer Like Qualities Conducting of Medical Examinations Preparing All India Merit List |
