I have applied for GPSC’s Gujarat Civil Services, Class-I so please tell me Exam date for this post and syllabus for preparation?

Gujarat Public Service Commission announced requirements of Gujarat Civil Services, Class-I and Class-II and GPSC conducts exam for recruitment to this post. If you have applied for this course then you have to prepare for exam and if you are selected then you get good salary job.

Preliminary Exam date: 12/10/2014

Other exams dates are not declared right now you have to be updated on Internet for dates of further exams and declaration of result.

Scheme of Examination:

1. Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)
2. Main Examination (Written Examination)
3. Personality test


1. Preliminary Examination consists of:

Paper – I: General Studies
Marks: 150

Paper – II: One subject to be selected from the list of optional subjects
Marks: 200


2. Main Examination consists of:
Paper – I: Gujrati
200 marks

Paper – II: English
200 marks

Paper – III: General studies
200 marks

Paper – IV & V: Two subjects to be selected from the list of optional subjects
Each subject will have two papers of 200 marks for each paper


3. Interview: The interview is for 100 marks
