Business Development MBA Intern (Mid-Year)

Brooklyn, NY, United States

This intern will support Etsy’s global growth by helping to evaluate new business development opportunities on a project basis.

This will primarily involve conducting industry research, building top-down or bottom-up opportunity sizing, and providing relevant insights.

The role is mid-year, and is expected to be performed partially remotely, with ideally weekly visits to the Etsy office.

Key responsibilities include conducting industry research and create new business development proposals, including market- sizing, competitive landscapes, and financial models

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Experience in consulting/finance and the tech industry

Current enrollment in business school or similar

Good sense of what’s going on in the world of tech, and can apply it to your work at Etsy

Passion about using data to support your recommendations, with the enthusiasm and ability to build models when necessary

Excellent writing and communication skills
