The by MSU or Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda is a partner in a prestigious European Union funded Erasmus Mundus Mobility Consortium – EUPHRATES. Under Erasmus Mundus Mobility Program a large number of scholarship opportunities are available to the university students and staff at all levels - Bachelor, Master, PhD, post-doc researchers for mobility to the European Partner Universities. Erasmus Mundus GATE Project [2012-16], European Union MSU has become a full partner in the European Union funded 2.5 million Euros higher education consortium with 7 European universities and 12 Asian universities are its partners under which the students and staff of MSU will be visiting 07 partner universities in Europe under fellowship program. In the first round, the MSU has been granted the fellowships worth Euros 57000 [Rs.40 lakhs] and return international air fares for 02 graduate students [22 months @ Euros 1000 per month], 01 post-doc student [06 months @ Euros 1800 per month] and 01 staff [01 month @ Euros 2500 per month] to visit European partner universities.
