There are 4 types of pilot licenses or pilots available in India.
Private Pilot License (PPL)
Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
Student Pilots License (SPL)
Air Force Pilot

To become pilot in air force route is entirely different than other 3.

For Air force pilot applicants need to pass NDA exam and take training in NDA.

For 1st three type of pilots, basic qualification is following.

Age: Minimum 17 years ( for most institues)
Medical: You should be medically fit as per the standards laid down by DGCA

Educational Qualification:
10+2 with Physics and Maths from recognized school. Some institutes allow non Science students as long as student applies to a specified course.

Government Aviation Training Institute, Civil Aerodrome, Bhubaneswar
Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi, Uttar Pradesh

Government Flying Club, Aerodrome, Lucknow
School of Aviation Science and Technology, Delhi Flying Club Ltd, New Delhi
State Civil Aviation, UP Govt Flying Training Center Kanpur and Varanasi
Rajasthan State Flying School, Sanganer Airport, Jaipur
Govt Flying Training School Jakkur Aerodrome, Bangalore
Assam Flying Club, Guwahati Airport, Guwahati
Bihar Flying Institute, Civil Aerodrome, Patna, Bihar
Andra Pradesh Flying Club Hydrabad Airport, Hydrabad
