DRDO is the Defense Research and Development Organization. It is an agency of the Republic of India.

As you want to become Junior Scientist in DRDO so you have to fight SET exam.

SET entrance exam is conducted by DRDO to recruit engineering or scientific graduates.

Eligibility for DRDO SET
Candidate must have engineering graduate with B.Tech or MSc degree

Age limit is 28 years
For SC/ST relaxation is 5 years
OBC, there is a 3 year age relaxation.

Application Form
For General/OBC candidates Rs 100 as cost and Rs 200 as exam fee

For SC/ST Application form Rs 100/-.
Exam fees is exempted

For HH/OH candidates, there is no Application or Examination fee.

The exam is usually conducted on the first Sunday of September every year.

No, one with MSc Physics could not applied for the recruitment of Scientist/ Engineer 'SC' 2019 opened by Department of Space, Indian Space Research Organisation.


ISRO offered the position of Scientist/Engineer 'SC' in Level 10 of Pay Matrix to the young graduates in the following engineering disciplines :- (i) Civil; (ii) Electrical; (iii) Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and (iv) Architecture.


Eligibility 2019

Scientist/Engineer 'SC' (Civil)
BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Civil Engineering in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10


Scientist/Engineer 'SC' (Electrical)
BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Electrical Engineering OR Electrical and Electronics Engineering in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10


Scientist/Engineer 'SC' (Refrigeration & Air Conditioning)
BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering with Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or allied subjects as electives or as a core subject in any of the semesters, in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% marks or CGPA 6.84/10


Scientist/Engineer 'SC' (Architecture)
Bachelor degree in Architecture in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% or CGPA 6.84/10 and registration with Council of Architecture
