Company secretary is a good position in a private or public company and organization. Company secretary play a vital role in administration part of any company.

CS has some key responsibilities like:
governance structures and mechanisms, corporate conduct within an organization’s regulatory environment, board, shareholder and trustee meetings, compliance with legal, regulatory and listing requirements, the training and induction of non-executives and trustees and so many.


Company Secretary is divided into three sections:
Foundation,
Executive,
Final Programme and Training

Exam will conduct in June and December in every year for all three sections.
First you have to enroll your self at ICSI. You can enroll yourself by online at official website of ICSI

Foundation Programme:
If you want to join foundation programme of CS your minimum qualification in 10+2 or equivalent in any stream.
Pursuing 12th can also apply for foundation.
8 month is duration for foundation program.

English and Business Communication
Basic Economics and Business Environment
Financial Accounting
Elements of Business Laws and Management
Information Systems and Quantitative Techniques

Executive Programme:
If you passed in foundation programme than you can proceed for executive programme of company CS, Or Graduates, post-graduates can directly get into executive programme of CS. candidates have to register before 28th February to appear for the examination held in December in the same year and same for the examination in June they should register before August 31st of previous year.

Company Law (ICL)
Economic, Labour Laws
Securities Laws and Compliances

Final Programme and Training:
After 9{minimum} month of passing executive programme candidate get admission in final programme and training of CS. June and December are the month for examination of CS.

Secretarial Management and Systems Audit

Group II
Financial, Treasury and Forex Management
Corporate Restructuring-Law and Practice

WTO-International Trade, Joint Ventures and Foreign Collaborations
Direct and Indirect Taxation-Law and Practice
Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations

Training:
If a person had done will final level of CS he/she will go for industry training.
