The Dr. D.Y.Patil All India Common Entrance Test (AICET) Entrance Exam has been replaced by NEET as per the Supreme Court order on May 9, 2016.

Now, admission in all state-level and private medical colleges will be done on the basis of NEET

Conducting Authority: Dr. D.Y.Patil Vidyapeeth University, Pune

DPU AICET Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subject

Candidates belonging to General category have to secure a minimum of 50% marks in PCB in 10+2 examination, whereas, candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category must have obtained a total of 40% marks in PCB in 10+2 examination

Candidates must be 17 years of age as on December 31, 2016

Candidate must be an Indian national

DPU AICET Exam Pattern:

DPU AICET will be a pen and paper based examination. Candidates can read below for the exam pattern:

DPU AICET 2016 will consist of objective type question paper

The test will comprise of a total of 200 questions

The test will be conducted on the basis of Physics, Chemistry and Botany and Zoology subjects

The duration of the exam will be of three hours
