Re: Entrance Exam after BHMS for MBBS

No, there is no any procedure to get lateral admission into MBBS after doing BHMS. If you want to do MBBS then you will need to give entrance test for MBBS and for this test your BHMS will not considered. This test will be based on 12th and you will get admission in the first year of MBBS.

MBBS Admission in 2nd year:

Some universities in Europe provide lateral entry in MBBS to BHMS, BAMS, BPT, etc. candidates but after the completion of such lateral entry to MBBS degree from any foreign university you may face the risk because foreign degrees are not recognized by Medical Council of India.
After completing MBBS from abroad you have to appear for the Medical Council of India screening test conducted by National Board of Examinations, New Delhi to get provisional or permanent registration with Medical Council of India.

MBBS Admission in 1st year:

If you want to take admission in first year of MBBS courses then you should have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Biotechnology in 10+2/HSC.

Also you need to score sufficient marks in qualifying exam for admission in MBBS like: AIPMT, AIIMS, RPMT, MPPMT etc.
