Eligibility for NET:
The applicant should have secured minimum 55% marks in Master’s Degree from universities/institutions recognized by UGC.

If you want to Become a Engineering College Professor or Reader you must have to Clear National Eligibility Test (NET) Exam

Here I am Providing National Eligibility Test (NET) Exam Details :

The Central Board of Secondary Education will be Conducting the National Eligibility Test (NET) on behalf of the University Grants Commission.

The UGC NET is Conducting for Determining the Eligibility of Indian Nationals for the Eligibility for Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Assistant Professor, in Indian Universities and Colleges.

Eligibility :

Candidates Should have a Master's Degree from a Recognized University or Institute.

Their Degree Should be any of these Disciplines :
Humanities,
Languages,
Social Science,
Electronic Science,
Computer Science
Application,

Candidates should have a minimum score of 55 Percent in their Qualifying Degree.

Exam pattern:

The Paper will be Divided into three Sections-

Paper I will be for a Duration of one hour 15 minutes and will comprise of 60 questions, out of which the candidates are required to attempt 50 questions.
It will carry a total of 100 marks

Paper II will be for a Duration of one hour 15 Minutes and will Comprise of 50 Questions, all of which are compulsory.
It will carry a total of 100 marks

Paper III will be for a Duration of two hours and 30 minutes and will comprise of 70 questions, all of which are compulsory.
It will carry a total of 150 marks
