Eligibility UP PCS Exam:
Educational qualification :
You have to pass a Bachelors Degree of any recognized University or equivalent qualification up to the last date for receipt of application.

AGE LIMIT :
(i)Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have crossed the age of 35 years on July 1, 2012
they must have not been born earlier than 2nd July, 1977 and not later than July 1, 1991.

SYLLABUS FOR UP PCS PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION
PAPER -I (200 marks) Duration:Two hours
Current events of national and international importance.
History of India and Indian National Movement.
Indian and World geography – Physical, Social, Economic geography of India and the World.
Indian Polity and governance – Constitution , Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights issues etc.
Economic and Social Development – Sustainable Development Poverty Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives, etc.
General Issues on Environmental ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change- that do not require subject specialization.
General Science

PAPER-II (200 marks) Duration:Two hours
Comprehension.
Interpersonal skills including communication skills.
Logical reasoning and analytical ability.
Decision making and problem solving.
General mental ability
Elementary Mathematics upto Class X level- Arithmatic, Algebra, Geometry and Statistics.
General English upto Class X level.
General Hindi upto Class X level.

Friends , Have a Look ,Here Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission’s UPPSC Combined State/ Upper Subordinate Services Exam Details :

Age Limit ;

Candidates must have Attained the age of 21 years and must not have crossed the age of 40 years

And must have not been born earlier than 2nd July, 1974 and not later than July 1, 1993 .

For PH Candidates, the Maximum age limit is 55 years

They must have not been born before 02 July, 1959.

Technology or Biotechnology or Oil Technology or
Agricultural Science or Veterinary Sciences or Bio-
Chemistry or Microbiology or Post Graduate Degree
in Chemistry or Degree in Medicine from a
recognised University, or any other equivalent/
recognised qualification notified by the Central
Government, and
(ii) Has successfully completed training as speci-
fied by the Food Authority in a recognized
Institute or Institution approved for the purpose;
Provided that no person who has any financial
interest in the manufacturem import or sale of any article
of food shall be appointed to be a Food Safety Officer
