Eligibility for NIMCET for MCA

What is the required eligibility criteria for NIT MCA Common Entrance Test (NIMCET-2015) to get admission in MCA programme, please provide here???

NIMCET is an entrance examination which is conducted by NIT for admission into MCA course for eligible students.

The NIT’s where eligible students can get their admissions in MCA through NIMCET are: Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut, Durgapur, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli, Warangal.

Eligibility:

Nationality:
The Candidates must be citizenship of India

Education Qualification:
The Candidates should process the full time 3 year duration BSc / BSc (Hons) / BCA / BIT/ B.E/ B.Tech courses from recognized University.

Candidates must have at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA in Bachelor Degree for General or OBC category. 55% marks or 6.0 CGPA must be in Bachelor degree for SC/ST Categories.

Candidates who are appearing in final year they can also apply for NIMCET but they must submit their result before last date.

Exam Pattern

NIMCET Exam will be conducted through Offline or Written Mode.
120 Multiple Choice Questions will be asked.
4 Subjects questions will come with four options.
There will be negative marking.

Mathematics: – 50 MCQ

Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning: – 40 MCQ

General English: – 20 MCQ

Computer Awareness: – 10 MCQ

Application fees;
General and OBC Category: – Candidates have deposit Rs.1800/-

SC/ST Category: – Candidates pay fee Rs.900/ –
