Eligibility to join Indian Army

Hello sir I have just completed my 10th and I am interested to join Indian Army so that can you please tell me that can I join this?

As you said that you are 10th passed but for Indian Army min qualification is 12th passed so you can try after 10+2

After 12th there are different ways to entry in Indian Army like
NDA Entry
ACC Entry
TES Entry

You have to appear for entrance exam or only interview to join Indian Army.

National Defense Academy (NDA) Entry

NDA is conducted by UPSC.
Indian Army recruits about 300 candidates through NDA Entry

Eligibility Criteria

Only unmarried citizen of India are eligible

Candidates should have passed 12th or equivalent from recognized board of India.

For Indian Air force and Indian Navy:
Candidates must have passed 12th with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects

Age Limits:

16 ½ years to 19 ½ years


Technical Entry Scheme (TES) Entry

Indian Army recruits 85 candidates through TES Entry for Armed forces of India.
Candidates are short listed on basis of the marks in 12th exam.

Eligibility criteria:

Only unmarried citizen of India are eligible

Candidates should have passed 12th or equivalent with at least 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics

Age limits:

16 ½ years to 19 ½ years

Firstly you complete your 10+2 and than you can apply for this.
