IIST Entrance Exam Eligibility for BTech course:
Citizenship :
Indian citizens .

Date of Birth :
For General category ( GEN ) and Other Backward Classes ( OBC ) categories : 24 year maximum age limit.

Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste ( SC ), Scheduled Tribes ( ST ) and Persons with Disabilities ( PD ) categories have relaxation of 5 years.

Qualifying Examination :

Candidates must passed 10+2 level exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.

Candidates belonging to GEN and OBC categories must secure an aggregate :
at least 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics ( PCM ).

Candidates belonging to SC / ST / PD should have an aggregate:
at least 60% marks in PCM subjects.

Candidates should appear for the Joint Entrance Examination ( Main ).
