Sir I want to know that what is the eligibility criteria for the B.Tech in the lovely professional university

Lovely Professional University is a private semi-residential university in North India created under the Punjab State Private University Act 2005 and recognized by UGC under Section 2 of UGC Act 1956.

Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for LPUNEST-2016


For admission in B.Tech, B.Tech (Hons.), Integrated B.Tech - M.Tech and Integrated

B.Tech - MBA applicant should
Score 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent (with Physics, Mathematics and English)* subject to valid score in LPUNEST–2016.

For B.Tech Biotechnology (BT), B.Tech - BT (Food Process Engineering) and B.Tech. Biotechnology (Hons.)

Subjects considered: Physics, Chemistry, English & Maths/ Biology/ Biotech; other things remaining same as above.


Selection Criteria

Applicants hjave to appear for LPUNEST and should have either completed or shall be appearing , in final examination of 10 + 2 from Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi)

Or

The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (ICSE, New Delhi) or State Board or any other Council, Institution, college etc. declared recognised by Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE), New Delhi or any other concerned apex body as applicable.


LPU NEST Exam Pattern :

The test duration is of 120 minutes and consists of 90 multiple choice questions ( MCQ ) of the objective type.The approximate distribution of questions is as follows :
Physics 30 questions
Chemistry 30 questions
Mathematics 30 questions
Biology 30 questions
Applicants can opt for either Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
Language of the entrance test shall be English only. Each question carries four marks. There
will be no negative marking for wrong answers or unanswered questions
