Re: Eligibility criteria for IIT Joint Admission Test exam

As you want to get the details of eligibility criteria for IIT Joint Admission Test exam so here it is for you:

Candidates must have passed graduate degree in any discipline from UGC Recognized University in SEP 2014 or before, are eligible to fill up application form.

Candidates who want to get admission in IISC Bangalore must have passesd first class degree and for reserved category, it is 50% aggregate. And except it, they must have 55% and 50% for reserved category.

Candidates who wants to get admission into IIT Guwahati, must possess 55% marks or 55% aggregate marks for 50% marks in Major / Honors and pass in all other subjects, including Languages and Subsidiaries, or 50% aggregate marks for SC / ST and PD Category Candidates in the qualifying degree.

IIT JAM Exam Pattern:

Multiple Choice Type Questions(MCQ) 20%
Fill-In-The-Blanks 30%
Descriptive 50%

Important Tentative Dates:

Online Registration Process: 16th September, 2013 to 16th October, 2013.
