The Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management was established in year 1953 with the vision to create professionals to manage professional business organizations with an awareness of the social responsibility of business.

MBA is important because dynamic business environment requires graduates who can effectively handle decisions. Including working with and leading people.

IISWBM Kolkata MBA and MHRM Admission IISWBM conducts two-year (full time) and two year (part time) Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree Course during Day and Evening affiliated to Calcutta University. The Course leads to the MBA degree of Calcutta University.

Eligibility Criteria:

Eligibility Criteria for admission to the MBA course as per Calcutta University Regulations.

Candidates must have honours Degree with minimum 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/PWD) in any discipline/Graduate in any professional course (Engineering, Medicine, 5 year LLB etc.) of a recognized University or a degree considered equivalent thereto and fulfills other conditions stipulated by Calcutta University for the Course.

Candidates must have (I) a minimum of 2 years work experience in Executive/ Supervisory level and (II) must be employed in a full time job at the time of admission.
