As you want to get the details of eligibility criteria to become a Central Bureau of Investigation Officer so here it is for you: Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed graduation in any stream Age: The candidate must have attained the age of 20 years on 1st July of the year of examination and must not have attained 27 years of age on that date. The upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. The upper age limit is also relaxed in favor of certain categories of employees working under the Government of India and Defense Services Personnel. Physical Requirements: a. Height i. For men -165cms. ii. For women -150cms Height relax able for Hillsmen and Tribals: 5cms b. Chest: 76cms. with expansion (There shall be no such requirement in case of female candidates) c. Vision: Eye-Sight (with or without glasses) Distant Vision :6/6 in one and 6/9 in other eye. NearVision:0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye Number of Attempts: General: 4 OBC: 7 SC and ST: No Limit Scheme of CS (Preliminary) Examination The Preliminary Examination consists of two papers of objective type (multiple-choice questions) carrying a maximum of 400 marks.
