As you want to get the eligibility for CPT exam which is in June so, here I am providing you the same.

Eligibility:

Candidates should be passed 12th or equivalent passed with recognized board.

For the upcoming CPT to be held in December, one should be registered for CPT course before April, 2014.

If you have not registered for the course till now so, you can't apply for the exam.
So, firstly you should register on the time for the next exam.
For getting registered for the CA CPT course:
Candidates should pass at the 10th class examination conducted by an examining body constituted by law in India.

Hey as CPT is the common proficiency test .it is the basic key to become CA

Eligibility

Applicants who have passed class X examinations conducted by any examining body constituted by the Law in India or an exam that is recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto may register for CPT

There is no stipulation as to the % of marks that a student should obtain (either at the 10th level or the 10 + 2 level) to be eligible for taking up this course. registering.

A student can appear at the CPT examination immediately after his/her 10 + 2 exams and has to pass in both the CPT as well as the 10 + 2 exams to be eligible for registering for the next level of the CA course i.e. PCC.

Duration of exam


In the month of June

In the month of December

Syllabus

Fundamentals of Accounts,

Mercantile Law,

General Economics

Quantitative aptitude.


Exam pattern

Total Marks – 200

Way of examination – Objective

No. of Questions – 200

Duration - 4 hours (two sessions of 2 hours each)

Timing

Session I (10.00 am to 12.00 am)

Session II (2.00pm to 4.00pm)
