Re: Eligibility for CBSE PMT
CBSE PMT Exam or All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) both are national level entrance test. CBSE Delhi organize an entrance test - CBSE PMT Exam - for filling 15% government quota seats under Government of India. As you said you have completed your10th class from CBSE, now you want to do CBSE PMT but I want to tell that you are not eligible for doing CBSE PMT, for that here I am giving you eligibility of this: Eligibility: Candidate must have minimum17 years age and maximum 25 year age for the CBSE PMT entrance test. For the SC/ST candidates, there is a relaxation of 5 years. Candidates can appear for the entrance test only three times, as per the norms of the Board. Candidates must have passed in Higher Secondary Certificate Examination with minimm 50% marks The SC/ST candidates must have minimum 40% marks. CBSE PMT Exam pattern: The CBSE PMT Exam conducted at two stages: Preliminary Examination Final Examination Preliminary Examination The question paper consists of 200 multiple choice type questions. The candidates have to click the right answer only by using Ball Point Pen on specially designed machine-gradable sheet. The questions are based on the science subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology). The Physics and Chemistry part of the question paper comprise 50 questions each while Biology (Botany & Zoology) part consists of 100 questions. The candidates are expected to answer all the questions within three hours duration. Final Examination The examination consists of two papers and both the papers are of objective types: Paper one - Physics and Chemistry Paper two - Biology / Botany / Zoology Students have to answer all the questions on machine-gradable sheet with using Ball Point Pen only.
