Eligibility Criteria:

An applicant must have a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent qualification.

I have scored 53% in B.Com final year now I want to appear for the Bank PO exam so will you please tell me am I eligible for Bank PO exam after scoring 53% in B.Com final year?

As you said that you have scoring 51% in B.Com final year so according to me yes, you can appear in bank PO exam. Here for your help I am giving you the information about the eligibility is given here:

Eligibility for SBI Bank PO

SBI conduct the bank exam their own basis.

Candidate has to be graduate with good percentage from recognize university.

Age of candidate should be between 21 to 30 year for open category. Relaxation for OBC/SC/ST/PD/ex-serviceman.

Eligibility for IBPS PO

IBPS stands for the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. It conducts CWE exam for PO and clerk for 19 public sector of bank.

Eligibility:

Candidate should be graduate in any discipline from recognized university.

Age of candidate should be 20 to 30 for open category. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-serviceman/pd.

PO stands for probationary officers. Recruitment of PO in Banks is done through a written Bank PO exam and by interview for successful candidates.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidate must be citizen of India

Minimum qualification is Graduation degree with at least 55% marks from recognized University.

So according to the educational qualification you are eligible for exam

Age limit:

Age of candidate must be between 21 to 30 years.
For reserved categories 5 years relaxation in upper age will be provided.

As you say that you have completed your B.tech Mechanical Engineering you are eligible for the IBPS bank PO Exam. You are asking for the eligibility required for this exam. here I am provide you this.

Eligibility Criteria IBPS PO Exam

Age limit:
Your age must be in between 20 to 30 years.
Age relaxation is provide only for SC/ST/OBC candidate .For Sc/ST candidate have age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC candidate it is 3 years.
Education qualification:
Those candidate have completed their graduation degree from any recognized university are eligible for BANK PO exam.They are not require any kind of percentage marks in graduation for this time.
IBPS PO Exam Pattern
Total marks of test will be 200 divided into 5 subjects these are as follows:
reasoning,
English language,
quantitative aptitude,
general awareness and
Computer Knowledge.

The duration for the exam is of 2 hours.
Negative Marks:
The penalty of 0.25 marks will be levied, if any wrong answer has been given.
IBPS PO Exam Syllabus
English Language
In this, test will be based on student’s capability to understand the English like as vocabulary, comprehension, general usage, grammar, and error detection. Vocabulary means Antonyms/synonyms/completion sentence. Comprehension means theme detection/completion passage/find the conclusion. Grammar means indirect direct speech/active passive voice. Error detection means passage/sentence/spelling correction.
Logical Reasoning
Logical reasoning has two types one is verbal and second one is non-verbal. Verbal reasoning means blood relation/sitting arrangement/judgement/statement/coding decoding/making series and syllogism. Non-verbal means making series/analogy and classification.
Quantitative Aptitude
Quantitative aptitude means play with numbers and calculation like as add/minus/multiple/average/roots/percentage/profit & loss/ratio/time & distance/stock & shares/area. Data interpretation is also one of the parts of quantitative aptitude, in this tabulation/graphs like as bar/line and charts will be asked as questions.

State Bank of India conducts Bank PO exam every year . Candidates must have fulfill the following eligibility conditions :

Applicants must have done Graduation in any discipline from a recognised university

Applicants are in the final year of examination/semester may also appear for SBI PO Exam

Applicants having integrated dual degree certificate are also eligible .

Age Limit required to appear for SBI PO Exam is :

Applicants must not have below 21 years and above 30 years.

Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST) : 05 Years

Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) : 03 Years

Persons With Disabilities (PWD) :

PWD (Gen)- 10 Years
PWD (SC/ST)-15 Years
PWD (OBC)- 13 Years
Ex Servicemen : 05 Years
