Eligibility for Air Force Common Admission Test
I want to apply for Air Force Common Admission Test AFCAT exam so can you please tell me the eligibility criteria to apply for this exam?

Air Force Combined Admission Test AFCAT is conducted by India Air Force for grant of Short Service Commission in Flying Branch and Permanent/Short Service Commission in Technical and Ground Duty Branches of the IAF after the successful completion of the courses. The courses offered are: Flying Branch: Short Service Commission Course Technical Branch: Aeronautical Engineers Course (Permanent Commission) Short Service Commission Course Ground Duty Branches: Ground Duty Officers Course (Permanent Commission) Short Service Commission Course AFCAT exam eligibility- Flying Branch:- Bachelor’s degree in any subject area with 60% Marks from a recognized University or Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology of 4 years with 60% Marks. Candidates must be passed 12th Examination with Maths and Physics. Age Limit: Candidates should be between 19 years to 23 years However candidates holding valid Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) will be relaxed in age upto 25 years. Physical Standards: Minimum Height: 162.5 cms with correlated weight Leg length: Min-99 cms. Max-120 cms. Thigh length: Max-64cms. Sitting height: Min-81.5 cms. Max-96 cms. Vision – 6/6 and 6/9 Technical Branch:- For Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics) AE (L): Four year degree qualification from a recognised university or Cleared sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India or Graduate Membership examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers by actual studies Aeronautical Engineer (Mechanical) AE (M): Four year degree qualification from a recognised university or Cleared sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Instituion of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India or Graduate Membership examination of the Institue of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers by actual studies. Age Limit: Candidates should be between 18 years to 28 years Physical Standards: Minimum Height (Men) - 157.5 cms, (Women) - 152 cms with correlated weight Duty Branches:- Administration and Logistics - Graduate degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or Post Graduate degree/equivalent diploma in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate Accounts - Graduate degree in Commerce (B.Com) with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or Post Graduate Degree in Commerce (M.Com)/CA/ICWA with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate Education – Post Graduate Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate Age limit- Age Limits Education Age Limit For Graduates 20 to 23 years For Post Graduates/LLB (5 years) 20 to 25 years For LLB (3 years) 20 to 26 years For M.Ed/Ph.D/CA/ICWA 20 to 27 years |
